You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of Kenya to register and use Vibo Africa. By creating an account, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate, complete, and up to date.
The Koin digital unit is used exclusively within the Vibo Africa platform. It is not a cryptocurrency or legal tender. Koin balances may be earned through grant access payments, top-ups via M-Pesa, PIK Pool earnings, and Cloud Link sharing.
Members may deposit KOIN into the PIK Pool, which accrues daily interest at the current platform rate. Interest begins accruing after the applicable delay period from the date of deposit. PIK Pool participation is voluntary and not a guaranteed investment product.
Members may apply for KOIN-denominated access facilities (loans) through their Cloud Link group, subject to guarantor acceptance and platform approval. Interest accrues daily on the outstanding principal. Members are responsible for timely repayment. Failure to repay may affect your standing on the platform and your Cloud Link membership.
Members may buy and sell KOIN peer-to-peer through the Open Air Market. All trades are facilitated by the platform via M-Pesa payments. The platform charges a small transaction fee. Vibo Africa is not responsible for delays in M-Pesa processing or buyer/seller disputes beyond our control.
Cloud Link groups are member-led circles for savings, access facilities, and community engagement. Membership is subject to group rules and platform guidelines. Members must conduct themselves respectfully and honestly within their groups.
Certain features require completion of Know Your Customer (KYC) verification. You agree to provide accurate identity documents when requested. Vibo Africa reserves the right to suspend accounts that fail verification or provide false information.
