Terms & Conditions

1. Platform Overview

Business Tank is a pitch evaluation platform operated by Vibo Africa. Members submit business ideas, record a live video pitch evaluated by AI, and may be connected with funding, grant, or marketing opportunities upon achieving a passing score.

2. Results Fee

Registration is free. A non-refundable fee of KSH 250 is charged after you complete your video pitch, to unlock your AI score and results. This fee is paid via M-Pesa before your results are revealed.

3. Coin Wallet

Upon successful payment you receive coins in your wallet as a welcome award. Coins may be used within the Business Tank ecosystem for features unlocked in future phases.

4. Video Pitch & Privacy

• You retain ownership of your business idea.
• You may choose to make your pitch video public (visible to all visitors on our site) or private (only accessible to the Business Tank review team).
• By choosing public, you grant Vibo Africa a non-exclusive licence to display the video on the platform.
• We will never sell your video or idea to third parties without your explicit written consent.

5. AI Scoring

• Your pitch is evaluated by an AI model across multiple criteria including clarity, market potential, budget realism, and delivery.
• A score of 85 or above is required to pass and unlock next steps.
• Scores are advisory; Vibo Africa does not guarantee funding or grant outcomes.
• You may re-record your pitch subject to a waiting period or coin cost.

6. Post-Pass Opportunities

Members who pass the AI evaluation may choose one or more of the following:

• Funding: Application forwarded to the Vibo Africa investor panel.
• Grants: Matched with relevant grant opportunities in the Vibo grants database.
• Marketing Partnership: Business Tank promotes your business through our channels.

All post-pass opportunities are subject to availability and further vetting. Selection is not guaranteed.

7. Code of Conduct

• You must submit genuine, original business ideas. Fraudulent submissions will result in account termination.
• Video pitches must not contain offensive, illegal, or misleading content.
• One active account per individual.

8. Data & Privacy

Your personal data is collected and processed in accordance with the Vibo Africa Privacy Policy. Video transcripts may be processed by third-party AI providers under data processing agreements.

9. Limitation of Liability

Vibo Africa is not liable for business outcomes, investment decisions, or third-party actions arising from participation in Business Tank. The platform is provided "as is".

10. Amendments

These terms may be updated. Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes acceptance.
